fingers crossed that the jewellery board stays up. its the 3rd attempt and i’ve no idea wat to do next if it falls again. am actually looking forward to turning out all the cupboards, thrashing everything and having a revamped room after moving here for more than a decade.

lunch yesterday reminded me how quickly time slips thru your fingers. ade and i went for our annual ritual – a Clarke Quay $15 lunch deal. last yr’s hot stone meal was real value for money, and this yr’s lunch at muchos proved to be pretty good too. to think we thought we ‘bao’ the entire restaurant – only noticed a lone ang moh tucked in a little corner after we were done.

speaking of lunch, i cannot emphasize enough how awesome garlic powder is for marinating chicken. add a dash with coriander, sesame oil, oyster sauce, citrus soy then pan fried with a wine sauce. simply awesome.

there is a lightning show going on now, courtesy of mother nature and i’m just awed by the spectacle before me. i am honoured to be part of this earth.
