January 20, 2011

i’ve never been good with goodbyes.

this morning, i listened to the tunes of Rachael Yamagata’s I Wish You Love.
Its been on repeat, ever since w managed to get it for me.
And as i did, i closed my tabs, one by one, following the pianist’s fingers pressing on the keys, delicately yet deliberately.

i hesitated at the final tab, which coincided with a pause in the tune.
then the music came on again, and the window disappeared.

no more tears.
